An active family living in a newly built two storey home were looking for a convenient assistive technology able to provide safe environment using hands-free lighting control solution.

Lighting

Wall switches to maintain standard lighting control functionality. Dimmable control using wall switches. Client programmable automated lighting scenes based on time and sunset/sunrise. Voice control for all lighting and scenes. Single user interface on mobile devices. Remote functionality enabling control of lighting when away from home.

We Assess

Our client has limited use of his hands and finds it difficult to turn the light switches on and off. An assessment was conducted providing the specific requirements to make their home safe to navigate without using wall switches to turn on lights.

We Specify

Using the information captured during the assessment, a technology specification was developed that met the client requirements. A smart lighting solution including integration with Google Voice Control for lighting was specified. A proposal was then submitted for approval.

We install

GEOHAVEN supplied and installed the smart lighting solution providing normal push button wall switch control, a single user interface for smart devices and integration with Google Voice Control. The system was commissioned including client training during the handover.
